Having just had the shock or my life, opening my mobile phone account, then a stiff drink, I wonder how I could have accessed the internet for $450 worth of internet usage from my Mobile Phone.
Previously my provider, Optus called me to ask about the account, how I use it, and to maximise the date and included calls on my account. I have made a few more call , but nothing extravagant yet the data has spiraled out to this.
I called them, and after talking to 3 people, ending up with Customer Service and they have wiped the excess.
Kind of amazed really going by the thing you read on other forums, but looking back at my record of usage there had to be something that wasnt quite right.
The moral of my story is to check, closely, the data readings from your bill. (Mine had bunches of excessive downloads/uploads) And be careful on what apps you have & how they run.
Nice to see, although had I taken the advice of the first 2 people I would still be up for the bill, I persisted and this is the result.
I have to say, as well, that I don’t think I could connect to the Net for long enough to actually upload/download that amount of data through them as the service is not the best around here. (actually none are but…)
